And so, it begins - and I am full of JOY! First, holding a space of gratitude to YOU...my clients. You have journeyed out with me through the years ... thank you for being an inspiration to me!
Today is the solar eclipse energy of Aries (my birth zodiac too). So, cheers to taking ourselves out of our comfort zone, to be fiery in motivation -AND to do that darn thing! Let's radiate energy, share inspiration and get motivated to take massive action! If you are feeling a little push, I invite you to welcome it as well ... to lead with kindness ... listen! YES!
For me? My push? Many times, I have been asked to put it all down on paper ... so here it is ... My push is into sharing the personal teachings I have received and compiling them into a little creative legacy for whomever rolls upon them. Wanna join me?
365 Days a Year, 8760 Hours, 1440 Minutes
How will you spend them?
I once attended a Qigong Immersion training amongst the breathtaking California Redwoods. I woke up each morning, energized with a smile ... to the soothing sound of crickets sharing their melody, stepping outside and feeling the cool forest air mist against my face, inhaling in the natural earthy fragrance around me as I walked through the plant life lined path, to shortly arrive at a perfectly downed log ... just before pausing to observe the break of light. Daily, this peaceful experience felt as if that moment was created just for me. I would open my Qigong practice with gratitude for all things. Letting go of what was good or bad in my journey. Choosing to lean into ... the practice of non-judgement ... non-expectation. To be still ... to be alone. Closing the past, patience in the future and true content in the moment of now. Feeling absolute delight. Feeling the Creator's presence. Connecting to my true self. As the birds began their song, and the campus began to wake up. I joined my colleagues in friendship and received nutritious foods before class began. Diving deep as a collective into the teachings of Qigong: gentle breath, mindful movement, massage ... leading to a blissful meditation of the heart-mind. Balancing the masculine and feminine aspects of self, the duality of learning and creating. Hours and hours, stacked the immersion into - FLOW.
It was here that I first learned of 1440. 1440 minutes in a day.
This is my Remembering.
Now I invite you - close your eyes, do you have a moment that you connect to, the remembering of your true self?
You see, we all get lost on autopilot. I needed a big heart wall stop and lots of crap just going haywire to pull me out of a tail-spin. I even know that I was shhhhing myself! So, that leads me to today ... the teachings I hope to pass on to you.
3 Root Causes of Dis-ease
In one of my pathways of study, my teacher shares it as, are you ready ... to listen how simple life really can be?
Misuse of the Senses
Crime of the Intelligence
Time and Motion
All with a primordial root cause - We forget.
Let's take a brief closer look.
First - Misuse of the Senses, what the heck are our 5 senses even? Sight. Hearing. Smell. Taste. Touch. Coming back to you now? Which of these 5 senses do you over-indulge in? Yep, that one! Which one of these 5 senses do you shhh, or neglect? Is there a way to use these senses to create a balanced sense of being into play?
Next - Crime of the Intelligence. AKA Crime of your mind. OUCH! Knowing, that internal conversation with self ... yeah ... you know ... the one where you not listening to your gut instinct!
Next - Time and Motion. We are all given so many breaths in life, so many heartbeats. Multitasking. Stress. Anxiety. Frustrations. Unbalanced emotion. Let's slow down friends. Emotions are healthy, just don't get stuck there too long. Breath is a gift. We received it at birth and it is the last to leave us in passing.
Finally - We forget. Can you go into a state of remembering ...
-Can you invite in a time where you lived experiencing all your 5 senses? If not, isn't it
time to create one?
-How can we live a more connected and compassionate life for self, honoring the
heart-mind?
-Can we allow breath and movement to move us a little slower through our days?
How will you use your 1440 minutes everyday? Every minute is a new beginning.
I remember.
I got into the grind of autopilot. I am choosing to get back to my roots.
Spring is blossoming and can't wait to experience life's unfolding!
